  1. I would say a lot of time, an awful lot of money and a bucket load of effort :)

  3. There are very few people with the skill and determination that you have .The difference in Teal is like night and day. Most people would not attempt a project like this, money
blood sweat and tears are required. Soon Teal will be afloat again and in her element and you will be the proud captain of a stunning vessel. After doing all this work you deserve many happy years sailing . Teal is very lucky to have been saved .

  4. Thanks a lot Leo. It is worth it all for the experience and the end result, I'm glad I took her on and that I did it in Hegarty's. Its mainly your project that inspired us to buy a wooden boat in the first place. I think Teal came perilously close to ending up in a skip before we bought her so its great to give her a new lease on life. Ken overheard some tourists talking outside the boat back at the start saying "that one is too far gone and would never go to sea again" so they had to be proved wrong. I'm looking forward to some leisurely Summer evenings at anchor now or perhaps a few pints in the pub looking out at her at anchor, I have some good sailing in mind too. Still a bit to do and time is flying by.
